Details: The Department of Biomedical Engineering, at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College proudly announces conducting the first ever National Level Inter-Collegiate Biomedical Technical festival "XEURON" on the 12th, 13th & 14th of FEBRUARY, 2010.

The event is aimed to provide a platform for the talented minds to present their ideas and also to indulge in synergetic interactions with the stalwarts of the Biomedical Industry and enhance their knowledge.

Biomedical Engineering has only recently emerged as its own discipline, yet there are many areas that are unexplored. XEURON attempts at exploring a few of these with a whole range of contests and events aimed to test the technical prowess of participants and to make them extrapolate textbook know-how to real-life situations in a creative way.

XEURON encompasses events ranging from the Technical Paper Presentation, Poster Contests, Quiz to Workshops, and Seminars.The highlight of XEURON is the Biomedical Exhibition, where in we have roped in big companies like Johnson & Johnson, Wipro GE, Draeger, Maestros etc to name a few. Also the Hospital Visit provides a new dimension to XEURON.
